Women Entrepreneurship Cell (WEC) Joint Director: Dr. Dilasha Anand Under Secretary: Sh. Ashish Kumar Mishra Section Officer: Sh. Manjeet Work allocated to the Section Drives Initiatives to support and enhance women’s participation in the MSME sector. Identifies sector trends, informing policies and programs to address barriers being faced by women. Addresses issues from Parliamentary Committees, RTI queries and Parliamentary Questions related to women entrepreneurs. ‘Yashasvini’ campaign, in partnership with NITI Aayog and other Ministries of GoI with an aim to bridge the gender gap in formalization and promote women entrepreneur’s access to credit/market/technology and capacity building by leveraging ‘whole of business cycle’ approach. Collaborate with other Ministries/Organizations/Industry Associations to promote women entrepreneurs. Media Cell Director: Sh. Ankit Kumar Agarwal Under Secretary: Sh. Ajay Kumar Section Officer: Sh. Vikram Work allocated to the Section Administer Information, Education and Communication Scheme implemented by the Ministry Campaigns in electronic media, print media, social media, outdoor publicity and other related activities Organizing press meet/conference with mainstream active journalists.
